"Am I feeling anxious about this?" Loki tilts his head in curiosity, raising his eyebrows slightly, which is not an untrue response, all told; his anxiety does ramp upward, a little, but mostly he wants to know how Nate came to that conclusion. He doesn't think he has that many tells with someone new and unfamiliar to and with him (or Lokis in general, as the case may be).

He mirrors Nate's gesture of putting hands into his pockets (as different as their pants are from one another's).

"Steve said that you're his friend. Before, he implied that he only wished to provide you with a safe place to be." A one-shouldered shrug. "Beyond that? Nothing. What do you think I need to know?"
