Starting up the coffee machine there in the kitchen and grabbing a mug down, he turns around to face the man there in the doorframe. He likes to think he's gotten better at making coffee and it seems rude to invite Loki over and not make him something.

Tilting his head some, leaning back against the counter with hands stuffed in his pockets again as he waits for the machine to brew the coffee, he stares at Loki in silence for a moment.
"You're not human," he says then so casually, as if talking about the weather. "That's not a bad thing. I'm just trying to figure out what that makes you then."
