Sophie could feel how lonely he is, and she never made an effort to hide from him how lonely she is, too. It's a comfort blanket for both of them, and she is more than okay with it herself. It's easy, low pressure, just existing as they are, and it brings her a sense of stability that she much needed, she likes it. She hopes he feels the same, she's not going to go looking this time around.
