tbh i'm not totally sure what he is. i think it's a bit more than that

his mind-invasion thing involves tentacles. like some sort of weird elder god

i've never warded against anything like that so i just made them as strong as i possibly could.
his interest seems to be piqued by anything you might call supernatural

like on the network he generally comes across as reserved & weirdly paranoid and i think that's not wrong, but then refuse to tell him a secret he wants to know and he just fuckin cthulhus right out on you

i've not seen it personally but he did it to someone i trust not to be lying about it.

they've hurt a lot of people here

the city doesn't give a fuck. they were in jail for i think maybe a month when they were outed as the killers

there's no jail to put them in and no proper sanction. and if you kill them in retaliation the city just resurrects them again. zsasz already died once

you could rearrange their thoughts. leave them in a mental prison they can't break out of. take away certain parts of them so they won't hurt people.

literally changing someone. changing their mind, editing out the unpalatable bits

i've been tempted. recently, even, with someone who hurt someone i loved. the line's fuzzier than it used to be. like maybe six months ago you could've said that to me and i'd say i would never do something like that. i can't say that now

but i think, maybe. i start doing that, then one day there's someone trying to work out how to take me down. it's too easy to become the bad guy. i don't want that.

i didn't say that. i don't know how to permanently stop them, but i can punish them. that i don't feel guilty about, especially since the city won't.
