yes, that's how i tried to make a way out of here.

it didn't work despite a coven of us working together
not a one of us is weak. but we couldn't do together what any of us could've done alone anywhere else

i want to make a second attempt, but there's no point unless i can find a different means. a new idea.

what happened when you tried?

the spell should've opened a portal to one world

instead it opened something like windows, to various places, none of which looked hospitable and many of which seemed to have monsters inside

looking into them for too long did something weird to your head. it was temporary

nothing could come through either way.

after it they turned my magic off completely for about a month.

how did they manage that? some sort of nullifier?

nothing they made me wear (although they've done that to others)

i didn't have any guarantee it would come back, either, but one day it just did

they can do that to any of us.

there was a camp they sent us to last summer and no one's powers worked there

i'm familiar with camps. i wonder if it's a telepath then. if they're capable of suppressing your power without even touching you.

i have blockers, but if they can turn off literally all my magic they could turn those off too

there's this rotten fucker called jonathan sims who pulls peoples secrets out of their minds bc that's just the way he is. he's why i made them, but they're generalised psychic wards

tbh i'm not totally sure what he is. i think it's a bit more than that

his mind-invasion thing involves tentacles. like some sort of weird elder god

i've never warded against anything like that so i just made them as strong as i possibly could.
his interest seems to be piqued by anything you might call supernatural

he saw one of the magical creatures that i rehome through the theatre and lost his shit because i said where they came from was none of his business
